Le Conseil constitutionnel a censuré l’interdiction des réseaux sociaux aux moins de 15 ans, estimant qu’elle portait une "atteinte disproportionnée" à leur liberté d’expression. Il ne s’est en revanche pas prononcé sur l’interdiction du téléphone portable au lycée, prévue dans le même texte.
