Selon les premières conclusions de Ryanair, un corps étranger aurait endommagé un moteur au décollage, projetant un débris qui a arraché un hublot en plein vol et entraîné la quasi-aspiration d'un passager, une hypothèse encore en cours de confirmation par l'enquête officielle.
